Celebrate Mother's Day at Damulay Ngurang, a fun morning at Barangaroo Reserve
Treat Mum to a special Mother's Day experience at Barangaroo Reserve! Damulay Ngurang, meaning "friendship place" in the Sydney Aboriginal language, celebrates mothers, parents, aunties, sisters and caregivers with a fun-filled morning of connection and appreciation.
Check out the schedule:
- 9am – 9.15: Welcome to Country
- 9.15am: Workshops commence (Native flora crown making, weaving, jewellery making & face painting)
- 9.30am – 9.50am & 11.30am – 11.50am: Buuja Buuja Butterfly Dance Group performance & workshop
- 10am – 10.20am & 11am – 11.20am: Interactive talk with Hello Dingo
- 10.30am – 10.50am & 12.30pm – 12.45pm: Torres Strait Dancers from Buuja Buuja Butterfly Group performance & workshop
- 12pm – 12.20pm: Storytelling session and walk with Hello Dingo
- 12.50pm – 1pm: Water Cleansing Closing & Farewell from Country Ceremony. Performed by Buuja Buuja Butterfly Dance Group

There's plenty to see in do in Barangaroo after Damulay Ngurang! Take a dip at Marrinawi Cove, enjoy water views as you walk along Wulugul Walk, enjoy gym equipment and soft play areas at our Harbour Park community recreation space or head to Barangaroo South and explore the restaurants and shops across The Streets of Barangaroo and Crown Sydney.
